A multidisciplinary exhibition surveying visions on style and beauty of Northwest photographers, directors, and stylists.

Curator / Cultural Producer: Christine Taylor
Curate a multi-media survey exhibition showing work by the Northwest photographers, filmmakers, and creative directors working in the medium of fashion. This exhibit ran side-by-side with the Museum of Craft's 'Fashioning Cascadia', an exhibit of fashion design by Northwest designers.
• Conceptual creative thinking and craftsmanship of visual art in fashion is not highlighted in the Northwest.
• When we think of northwest fashion, we usually consider the fashion designer rather than the production teams that publicize their work.
•15-29 year-olds are the fastest growing fashion consumer demographic, and they're interest in engaging, experimental visual fashion projects is growing due to social media platforms where experimentation is encouraged.
• Fashion is so much more than clothing, it is an expression and a cultural statement about how to live, what we find inspirational, and what we desire.
• Photographers hold their own views on what is fashionable, views that revolve around tone, light, form and composition - in addition to fashion and trend.
